Sport Science Agency appoints Rob Meaden as Head of Communications and Content

Sport Science Agency has today confirmed the appointment of Rob Meaden as its new Head of Communications and Content. The unique Nottingham-based outfit works closely with brands, broadcasters and rights holders, helping them to create and leverage their performance stories.

Rob brings significant experience across multiple sports to the marketing agency having worked for several high profile events, leagues and national governing bodies over the past 15 years.

His most recent role was as Head of Communications and member of the Senior Leadership Team for Rugby League World Cup 2021. He previously held senior positions at the English Football League and British Cycling following an initial career in sports journalism with the Press Association.

Rob joins Sport Science Agency at an exciting time, with a growing client list which already includes organisations such as Marker Diagnostics, BELTER and Vodafone, having previously worked with the likes of adidas, Formula 1 and Warner Bros. Discovery Sports.

Sport Science Agency’s USP is to provide brands, broadcasters, rights holders and its agency partners with the knowledge and expertise to develop performance stories that engage fans and stakeholders across the sporting landscape. Rob will work alongside Managing Directors Alex Skelton and John Mulcahy to take ownership of the content marketing activities, as well as press and media relations to raise the profile of SSA and the agency's client base.
