WTA Tour and SAP
Working with global sports strategy and activation agency Rebel Ventures and Sport Science Agency’s development partner webdna, we delivered a digital experience that highlighted SAP’s partnership with the WTA Tour.
Utilising data from SAP, we created an interactive quiz that helped fans to engage with the eight players in the WTA Finals 2021. By comparing fan’s own attitudes to different scenarios we were able to compare each fan with the players, providing them with their perfect match.
The quiz was open through out the finals 10th November - 24th November 2021, and was completed by people in 129 different countries including eight very special participants, the finalists of the WTA Tour.

BACKGROUND
Rebel Ventures approached Sport Science Agency to develop a digital activation that could tell the story of SAP’s data partnership with the WTA Tour during the WTA Finals 2021.
Working with the SAP Data Analysts, SSA developed a quiz that linked participant answers to the players’ performance over the season. This focused on playing styles, win ratio and performance in pressure situations to get a holistic view of each player.
Sliders for each question enabled participants to give an exact answer for each question which helped deliver the most accurate comparison between fans and players.
